The Embassy of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Brazil and Institute of International Relations of University of Brasilia (IIR) have the honor to invite you to the Seminar on Prospects for Nuclear Disarmament and Non Proliferation. The event is dedicated to the International Day Against Nuclear Tests, and will touch upon issues of global security in the areas of nuclear of non-proliferation and disarmament. It is also inspired by the celebration of the 25th anniversary of the closing of the Kazakhstan´s nuclear test site and the country´s voluntary renouncement of the then fourth largest weapon arsenal in the world, which took place on August 28-29, 1991, representing a remarkable and effective contribution to the nuclear disarmament process.
The seminar will be held on August 25, 2016 at the auditorium of the Institute of International Relations, Campus Darcy Ribeiro, University of Brasilia.
